My client is an MSP in the educational sector and is seeking a talented 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to offer technical expertise to clients, customers and colleagues across the Northwest visiting client sites and offering remote support. This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning business with huge plans for growth offering plenty of future progression.
Responsibilities:
** Provide professional and efficient support to all users
** Remote Support and On-Site Support (on site and client visits)
** Perform network diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks
** Prepare customer hardware and software for projects
** Collaborate with clients to identify and address their networking concerns
** Configure and support network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls
** Assist with network upgrades and deployments
** Document and maintain accurate records of support activities
Requirements:
** Previous IT Experience (2-3 years)
** Strong experience with Windows Operating Systems and Servers
** Active Directory on-prem and Azure AD
** Mobile Device Management and Printer management
** General Networking Knowledge
** Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking
** Experience troubleshooting withing a Network and Cloud environment
** VMware and Hyper-V experience is a Bonus
** Networking Certification e.g CCNA (desirable)
** Self-motivated and organised
** Full UK License and Car (Essential!)
Salary: GBP 25,000 - 30,000 DOE
Location: Manchester - Mainly Field Based
Working Pattern: 5 days (Mon - Fri 8:00am-5:30pm)
