Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 per annum, DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am 4.30 pm (40hrs per week)

Responsibilities
- Providing troubleshooting assistance to internal Company IT users and addressing issues across the entire IT infrastructure, including phones and photocopiers.
- Diagnosing network problems, proactively identifying potential risks, and suggesting/implementing short and long-term enhancements for the comprehensive IT infrastructure.
- Ensuring the security of the BSB network and implementing cyber security measures, along with overseeing backups.
- Collaborating with third-party software, hardware, and service providers on all IT-related issues.
- Taking responsibility for ERP maintenance and configuration, including SQL reporting.
- Configuring and maintaining servers, PCs, and related infrastructure in response to staff changes.
- Identifying, arranging, and installing peripheral devices (such as printers) across the network as needed.
- Scheduling upgrades, maintenance, and updates for both software and hardware as required.
- Compiling user feedback and data, analysing findings, and proposing changes. Developing and maintaining support processes, including user manuals and training materials for end-users.
- Managing the company's backup maintenance programme, including thorough testing to ensure 100% functionality and reliability.
- Engaging in various project work as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Must hold a current qualification in IT, such as an IT Degree, BTEC National Certificate/Diploma for IT Practitioners, Microsoft Certification, or equivalent qualification/experience is a mandatory requirement.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar environment utilising ERP systems for this role.
- Must be proficient in SQL-based programming, demonstrating a high level of competence.
- Should be at intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Office-based programmes.
- Essential that candidates possess a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure within a business environment.
- A strong analytical and problem-solving approach to issues is required for the role.
- Accurate and articulate report writing skills.
- Capable of working independently, prioritising own workload effectively.
- Demonstrates a calm demeanour with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills at all levels, including interaction with third-party providers, are crucial.
- Must hold a full UK Driver s licence with a car and can be insured for business travel.
