Our People team have a new opportunity to join them as a Junior Analyst on an up to 9 month basis. The role will work collaboratively within the Environmental and People Partnering departments, supporting and providing the teams with data support.
The role will be assisting in the provision of high quality (reliable and insightful) data analysis and reporting to meet business needs and inform decision making. Creating dashboards, producing MI and working with lots of different people at all levels, will be important parts of the role.
It’s a great opportunity for individuals looking to work with data that’s applied and interesting, who will be a helpful support to the People Team and the wider business. It will also help develop the individuals deeper understanding of energy, carbon & ESG metrics – usage patterns, benchmarking, energy data analysis and consumption variances.
As a Junior Analyst, you’ll support:
The Environment Team with analytical and administrative support on our efforts to achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2040 through proactive data analysis, monitoring and reporting.
We are proud of what we have achieved so far in 2023, gaining B-Corp Certification, retaining our ISO 14064 accreditation and submitting our first Climate Disclosure Project. We have made substantial reductions with our own operations and progressed with colleague & supply chain engagement as well as facilitating green mortgage products for our members, further details of which can be found in our annual Sustainability Report.
The People Partnering Team with HR data production & optimisation, reporting and dashboard creation and management. We enable the People Team, as well as the wider business, to measure and report on key workforce areas such as diversity, wellbeing, engagement, recruitment and retention.
To be successful in this role we’re looking for a data-oriented individual with great analytical skills. The ability to demonstrate previous experience in this area would be advantageous, but not essential but will have the drive and potential to develop these skills.
You’ll be confident with your IT skills including Moderate to Advanced Microsoft Excel and will be able to work with databases. Having a keen interest in numbers and analytics, either as recent graduate or from a data orientated and / or analytical related background would be beneficial.
You’ll have strong attention to detail, planning skills and ability to work to deadlines with and eagerness and aptitude to learn. The utmost discretion and confidentiality is essential as well as the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and senior management will be important skills.
Experience in creating reporting & dashboards and an interest in Sustainability & ESG would be beneficial.
