Detillens is working with a top tier Financial Services Institution based in Glasgow and we are hiring for a Junior Finance Consultant, to perform a role within one of their Finance Teams. Please note that this role will be located in Glasgow and will require a minimum of 2 days in the office per week, sponsorship is not possible for this role.
The role will focus on ensuring the reporting of criticial Finance data to regulators and internal stakeholders on a daily and monthly basis. Working in a fast paced envirionment with a dynamic team, the person will need to work with and examine financial data from mutliple sources, working with Finance stakeholders to ensure that both internal and external reporting demands are met.
Skills:
- Will have outstanding interpersonal skills, a naturally inquisitive mind and be highly motivated to learn and develop.
- A high level of capability to use Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, Functions and Formulas etc)
- Exposure to Financial Services is preferable, or a Finance, Accounting, Economics or numerical based Degree.
- Will be able to work under pressure effectively and be able to develop practical solutions to business reporting problems, working within a team.
- An ability to manage your work load effectively, prioritise and adapt, and develop practical solutions multiple issues.
