This is a growing consultancy going from strength to strength that are looking for a Junior Procurement Consultant to join their team and support on the delivery of a newly won client account within the public sector.
Your new role
As a Junior Procurement Consultant, you will be supporting the wider commercial delivery function in a wide variety of activities. This could include spend/supplier performance analysis one day and preparation of commercial documents (RFx, IFB, SP etc). This business currently exclusively supports public sector clients, helping on the delivery of multi-billion pound infrastructure projects that affect the whole of the UK. You will be working exclusively with public procurement regulations, both remotely and from client sites.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills with an innate ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. For this role, prior public sector and consulting experience are not a requirement. However, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to thrive in this environment with time. You should be a quick learner with an attention to detail that is able to effectively manage your time with minimal supervision.
What you'll get in return
Salary will be up to £45,000 depending on experience, with a discretionary 10% bonus. You will be required to go into the office 2 days a week in central London - one day you will be on-site with clients in central London. This organisation will also offer full CIPS support.
