Learning Support Assistant (Psed)

The Learning Academy Partnership have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Trust, based at Ellacombe Church of England Academy. Ellacombe is at the heart of our local community and is located close to the centre of Torquay; over the years we have developed a strong reputation for being a supportive and caring school which fully understands the needs of our children and their families. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will work alongside a highly passionate team to ensure children are cared for, inspired, and challenged. The role involves developing positive and caring relationships with some of our most vulnerable pupils and would be ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of Attachment Theories and Trauma-Informed Approaches. Our ideal candidate will have experience supporting and nurturing the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and will be committed to making a profound difference to the lives of our most disadvantaged children.
