As our student numbers increase and we continue to diversify our programmes and portfolio, we are looking for a high-calibre individual to join our Learning Technology Service as a Learning Technologist on a fixed-term basis (12 months) This is a fantastic opportunity to enter a well-established and respected department.As our Learning Technologist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the digital landscape of the University of Law. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology Enhanced Learning & Teaching and Learning Analytics, you'll provide specialised expertise in digital learning across multiple modes, including in-person, online, and blended formats. Your responsibilities will range from curriculum enhancement through digital technologies to operational training of staff. You'll lead in building campus-based communities of practice, and contribute to the strategic development in areas like policy and academic enhancement. You'll be at the forefront of piloting new digital tools and will take part in scholarly activities to evaluate the impact of technology on student experience. Your role will extend to implementing policies on equality, diversity, and inclusion within the digital learning environment. You'll also work collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders to support the University's strategic plan, focusing on improving student learning experiences and outcomes through data analytics. The Role This role is not just about technology; it's about transforming education at the University of Law through innovative and effective uses of digital learning tools and strategies. You duties will include: Investigating, evaluating, prototyping and championing new technologies and applications. Supporting, all University of Law staff and students to develop their digital capabilities, including developing and delivering training events, workshops and online courses. Providing expert advice and guidance on the use of data (learning) analytics to improve the student experience and outcomes.
