Key responsibilities:
- File Management – creating and archiving electronic files and ensuring compliance procedures are adhered to (including KYC and AML procedures)
- Records - archiving and recovery of records as requested by fee earning staff
- Scanning and photocopying documents
- Filing
- Billing
- Legal research
- Assisting the team with transactions including the management of electronic data rooms
- Dealing with post completion transaction matters
What are we looking for:
Essential
- Administrative experience gained within a professional services environment
- Understanding of the Legal industry
- Organises own work effectively and can handle multiple projects, shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills
- IT skills (Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Ability to operate in a busy target driven environment.
- Demonstrates understanding of client needs/expectations.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrable experience of working flexibly and proactively within a team structure along with the ability to work to own initiative.
