About the Job:
Provide administrative support to the legal Department, including the key areas of general administration with use of printers and scanners, dealing with mail, couriers and handling hard copy legal documents
Key Information:
- Hourly Pay Rate: GBP18.81 PAYE or GBP23.89 Umbrella
- Hours: Part time, 3 days a week (Fully Office based)
- Contract Length: 3 months
- Location: Southwark
- Start Date: ASAP
- Client: Transport for London
- Oversight of TfL Sealing electronic and physical mailboxes - acknowledging receipt of documents, responding to enquiries, printing request forms and deeds, scanning signed deeds and returning them by email to requestors etc.
- Administration of document sealing process under direction from the Company Secretary Manager - reviewing requests, creating logs in seal register, affixing and embossing seal wafers onto documents, contacting Managers to request signatures etc.
- Record-keeping via the Seal Register (Excel spreadsheet)
- Other company secretarial tasks as delegated by the Company Secretary Manager
Skills, Experience and Knowledge
- Confident use of Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of the creation of SharePoint sites is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and concise email responses to enquiries and explain policies and procedures to colleagues at various levels
- Record keeping and filing within a confidential environment
- Dealing with multiple requests and priorities in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
