Form of workOur client, a leading international US Firm, is seeking a Legal Assistant with a minimum of 1 years’ experience, ideally in Corporate Law, although other areas will be considered, to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is the ideal role for a Legal Assistant with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a fast-paced firm to join a leading firm in their field, working with Lawyers across the business to provide a high and reliable level of support within the London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting correspondence and documentation under Lawyer supervision
- Assisting with due diligence matters
- Assist Lawyers and transaction working groups at financial printers
- Revising, proofreading and distributing draft agreements and other documents
- Coordinating files
- Preparing drafts of clients bills and other documentation
- Conducting factual research
Key Experience:
- Degreeeducated - a degree in Law is advantageous although not essential
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar Legal Assistant role
- Corporate experience is advantageous although not essential
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to use your initiative
- High level of written and verbal communication
- Keen interest in and understanding of the Law
