Salary £21,000 - £26,000 DOE
MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with an established conveyancing solicitors in the Didsbury area of Manchester, we are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier with 12+ months experience working in a similar role.
Our client is a niche, forward-thinking law firm, where the Partners are highly reputable in the legal market. With a structured and experienced property team, they pride themselves on delivering top-tier services to our clients across various sectors.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Legal Cashier to join their dynamic team.
Overview
- Full time, permanent position
- Salary up to £26,000
- Office based
- 35 hours per week
The Candidate
- You will hold a minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role.
- Input credit card transactions from partner credit card statements.
- Take client debit/credit card payments.
- Post bills/credit notes
- Manage the firms Purchase Ledger – liaise with suppliers as required.
- Process Conveyancing Completions
- All tasks relating to Conveyancing Completions
- Monitor all residual balances – esp. Conveyancing.
- Maintain Client Ledgers
- Post to both Client & Office Transactions
- Online banking admin
- Accounting reconciliations as required
- Pay PAYE
- Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Liaise with firm’s accountants – as required
- Assist with HR & office manager/partners as required
- Other duties may required
