We are looking for a Legal Cashier to join the transactions team, As part of this team you would play a pivotal role within the finance operations and would ensure that accurate and timely processing of financial transactions while adhering closely to regulatory standards and internal procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Process client matter transactions, including office and client cheque requests, banking procedures, direct credit transactions, and ledger postings.
Conduct trust account transaction processing and bank reconciliations in accordance with Trust account procedures.
Provide financial support to our International Offices, assisting with transaction processing, bill processing, and bank reconciliations when necessary
Support bank reconciliation efforts and provide assistance with overaged items as needed.
Undertake clerical accounts duties and accounts administration as appropriate.
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while meeting deadlines consistently.
Proficient knowledge of Legal Cashiering practices and strong understanding of regulatory standards.
Excellent teamwork skills with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Legal Cashier role.
