Hybrid in Milton Keynes

Part-time – 3 to 4 days a week

T2M are currently working with a growing technology and manufacturing to recruit an in-house Legal Counsel specialising in commercial and contract law.

This role requires a specialist in commercial contracts, strong negotiator, and knowledge of broad commercial law that effects manufacturing and technology businesses. The role is open to qualified and non-qualified.

Responsibility of this in-house Legal Counsel position:

• Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts with both customers and suppliers.
• Providing advice and assistance on legal matters such as:
• Warranties
• Product Liability
• Intellectual Property
• Contract Law
• Negotiating and mediating with customers and suppliers on legal matters.
• Working with finance and procurement teams on disputes.
• Liaising with and instructing external Counsel on complex issues or litigation.

Requirements to be successful as an in-house Legal Counsel:

• Degree level qualification in Law such as Law LLB or similar qualifying degree.
• LPC or similar post-graduate course.
• Previous role as an in-house Legal Counsel or supporting manufacturing/engineering clients.
• Experience of commercial and contract law.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Negotiation and mediation expertise.

This role will be based hybrid-remotely in Milton Keynes with travel expected to the office and manufacturing sites when required. A UK Driving License is required.
