Job description

£35,577 - £36,567 per annum

We are seeking to recruit a Legal Officer to undertake and assist with disrepair cases.

A formal legal qualification is not necessary; however, you will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a high standard of written English.

You will have experience of working in a legal office in a Legal Officer, Paralegal or similar capacity. Some experience of handling legal casework is essential. Experience of disrepair procedures or other types of litigation work is desirable but not essential provided you have some experience of legal casework. Prior local authority experience is not required.

The successful candidate will be a team player who can demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility and excellent organisational skills. The ability to work to tight timescales/deadlines is essential for this role.
