Form of workOur client is looking for a reliable, caring and friendly Personal Assistant to support him to remain independent at home. He has complex needs and his needs can fluctuate daily.
He would need support with all aspects of personal care, taking medication and most importantly getting out in the community. This could be anything from a local walk to shopping or possibly attending support groups locally.
The ideal candidate will have experience with different dementia’s and Parkinson’s Disease but this is not essential.
Hours available: up to 44.5 per week during term time with flexibility to offer overtime at the weekends and during school holidays. Ideally would like 2 applicants to split the hours equally but any hours can be offered so please get in touch.
Hours needing to be covered are Mondays 7:30-5pm and Tuesday – Friday 7:30-4:30pm.
A generous hourly rate of £12 per hour including a workplace pension and 5.6weeks paid annual leave.
Car owner and driving licence is not essential as our client can use public transport, however there may be a possibility to be added onto Motability car insurance.
