We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join a multinational chemical company, who supply to a diverse range of industries. You will be responsible for managing logistics operations, from import to distribution in order to provide fantastic service to customers.
The Role
-Coordinating the physical flow of products and stocks, from import to distribution.
-Contributing to a successful lead time.
-Participating in implementing logistics performance indicators such as OTIF, lead times etc.
-Working with logistics service providers to guarantee an optimal level of customer service.
-Participation in site projects as required.
The Person
-At least 3 years of experience in Logistics/Warehousing
-Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) and Dangerous Goods by air (IATA)
-Holds a diploma in logistics with experience in imports and distribution
-Proficient in ERP Software, sage etc.
-Able to work in a fast paced environment.
