Job Description
A new and exciting opportunity is now available for a Logistics Coordinator to work for our client a Global Logistics and shipping company based in Aberdeen.
This position offers hybrid working with 2 days remote and 3 based in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with suppliers on Air Freight, Sea Freight and Road Freight
- Responsible for client enquiries
- Handling the movement of goods
- Following up on client quotes
- Coordinating with customers
- Complete and accurate shipping documentation
- Checking Customs Clearance entries in accordance with HMRC regulations, client requests, and company policies
- Airline cargo security
- Ensure that task files and estimates are accurate
Requirements:
- International logistics experience in the oil and gas industry
- Flexible working methods
- Team member
- Strong communicator both orally and in writing (good English, written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of Incoterms
- Understand HMRC export and import regulations
- Understand both normal and off-gauge transport techniques
