My client in Malta has an exciting opportunity for a Stores, Logistics and Procurement Administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for ensuring the general management of all warehouse areas including Serviceable, Unserviceable Quarantine, Receipt, Reject and Despatch area, perform to the standard inventory control functions. You will be responsible for aircraft parts procurement process and incoming inspections.
Technical Responsibilities
- Assisting Procurement and Logistics Executive in monitoring supplier performance appraisals
- Assisting P& L Executive special procurement or logistics projects
- Regular reporting on work progress to P&L executive
- Monitoring and following up on re-stocking and maintenance orders with suppliers and contracted freight forwarder
- Processing on supplier invoices
- Carrying out inventory controls, parts receiving inspection, audits and stores transaction duties
- Perform stock checks keeping quantities or batch discrepancies to a minimum.
- General upkeep of serviceable, unserviceable, quarantine reject, dispatch and receipt areas
- Ensure all aircraft components are appropriately stored and binned in accordance with Aviation Standards Practices.
- Preparing components in readiness for shipment
- Disposal of scrapped parts and materials in accordance with section procedures.
- Maintain a current Airfield driving licence, AVSEC Airport security pass and successfully pass company mandatory courses including IATA Dangerous Goods.
Skills / Qualifications
- Good understanding of spoken and written English
- Good Interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to learn and use software systems used within the department
- Committed to enhance own sectors performance and efficiency
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
- Have a clean police conduct and in possession of a driving licence
This is a longer term temporary role with the option to become permanent.
