SalaryAs a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process for our successful and growing client in Aldershot. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure the efficient production of products.
Ideally you will have previous machine operating experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machinery according to production schedules and specifications
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are running smoothly and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshooting and reporting any problems with machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure their optimal performance
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet the quality standards
- Assist with training other colleagues on the machines and procedures
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Supporting other departments as and when required
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role would be advantageous
- Basic mechanical skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
You will be working either an early shift (6am-2pm) or a late shift (2pm-10pm).
