As a skilled Machine Operator, you could join a great team and operate press machines in a fantastic moulding facility. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press machines and a strong understanding of moulding processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Operate press machines to mould products according to specifications
- Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper moulding processes
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and achieve production targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in a moulding or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (45-minute lunch break). Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
Hourly Rate: 10.42 rising to 11.44 in April 2024.
