SalaryA leading global property company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work on-site on a high-end Build-to-Rent development in South London. This role is paying up to £37,000 plus bonus.
The role:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing day-to-day maintenance for the building and residents. The Maintenance Technician will ensure that all repairs and maintenance work is completed promptly and to a high standard.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:
- Complete all maintenance works including external and internal areas of the building, amenities, common areas and grounds.
- Adhere to building standards, statutory compliance and health & safety.
- Support the building services maintenance regime to ensure the mechanical, electrical and other building services plant and equipment reach their expected life span.
- Attend company’s maintenance training.
- Inspect common areas of the building regularly.
- Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
- Review work by vendors.
The person:
- At least 1 years’ experience working in a Maintenance position.
- Basic technical education and holding a recognised trade discipline is required.
- IOSH Working Safety certificate or willing to complete course within 90 days of employment.
- Basic working knowledge of common area maintenance, service requests and apartment preparation.
- Must have knowledge of HVAC, BMS, building control requirements, fire and environmental control measures, health & safety in relation to residential building management.
