My clients is a family run business who is continously growing and now currently has over 60 plus employees. The company has been trading for over 25 years and is delighted to be hiring again.
The role will be to join a team of 6 people and is an exciting opportunity for someone in a fincane role looking for a step up or a manamnent accountant looking for a new challenge. This role would suit someone who can work independently and as part of a team and in return you will be rewarded with a friendly supportinve place to work.
Key responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- KPI reporting
- Statutory submissions PAYE/ CIS / AOE / VAT
- Assist in audit and year end processes
- Maintain a record of project profitability and provide updates to Operations and Sales teams on live projects
- Collaborate with the Chief Accountant to develop models for budgeting & forecasting; then maintain and update budget models
- Aid in the development of the team and processes

- The ability to challenge and suggest improvements to processes
- Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and compliance with Finance protocols
- The ability to work effectively with/alongside non Finance professionals and other parts of the business
- Committed to their own continuing professional development, being fully conversant and up to date with relevant legislation and best practice
- Proficient in the use of all MS Office applications, finance systems (experience with Sage desirable) and digital communications
- Excel skills up to VLOOKUP/SUMIFs level
