Your new role
You will assist the Finance Manager in delivering financial information and support the Management and the Board with accounting needs. You will undertake the following:
- Prepare the monthly Management Accounts for the Group
- Support with planning, preparation and completion of Year End Audit and Statutory Accounts.
- Analytical review, budgetary monitoring and variance analysis.
- Assist in the delivery of Budgets and Business Plans and Regulatory Returns.
- Deliver on efficiencies
- Process BACS and CHAPS payments
- Cover for the Financial Accountant
What you'll need to succeed
You must have previous management accounts experience, including experience of year-end statements and budgets. You must be able to demonstrate a decent understanding of VAT and possess advanced MS Excel skills. Should you have previous experience working for a Housing Association this would be a bonus.
