Management Accountant

Are you a Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant who has extensive Management Accounting experience looking to gain more exposure to various projects within a growing business? A highly-established business who have gone through a fast period of change are looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Romford on a long-term contract.

This is a great opportunity to lead several projects, assist with year-end and work with a highly dynamic finance team.

What you will do:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and performance reports.
• Preparing 13 week Cash Flow Forecasts and monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Assisting in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasting processes.
• Conducting cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Collaborating with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Accounting of financing / banking including intercompany financing; RCF; loans; FX gains/losses analysis
• Supply chain reporting and supplier analysis including tracking cost savings.
• Stock analysis and monitoring of obsolete, slow moving stock etc.
• Monitoring capitalised development spend with identification of risks and assist tax advisors with R&D claim
• Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
• Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in management accounting.
