About Our Client
Michael Page are partnering with a well-regarded Wealth Management Firm to assist them in hiring a Management Accountant for their Central London based team.
Job Description
Key responsibilities of this Management Accountant role in the Financial Services sector in London:
- Delivering monthly, Interim and FY reporting cycles and the consolidation of international businesses
- Ensuring business transactions conform to IFRS accounting standards and the balance sheet is reconciled and maintained to a high standard
- Help support or prepare papers on accounting judgements and considerations for the Audit Committee
- Helping integrate acquired businesses into the Group
- Filing statutory audited accounts for numerous UK legal entities
- Partnering with the CRO on Regulatory submissions and Capital / Liquidity planning activities
- Supporting the Tax functions
- Support the management of the Treasury function and quarterly debt/covenant reporting
- Managing one Assistant Management Accountant
The Successful Applicant
Education and Experience required for this Management Accountant role in the Financial Services sector in London:
- Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Knowledge of financial reporting systems
- Knowledge of Statuary Reporting systems
- Competent in Excel
- Good technical accounting skills
- An understanding of IFRS and UK/US GAAP
- Previous experience in managing a Treasury function and knowledge of hedge accounts (including interest rate swaps)
