An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a small and friendly accounts team in Devizes.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience, be able to prioritise workloads, demonstrate attention to detail, flexibility and have a proactive and positive approach to work, as well as having the ability to communicate effectively and build good working relationships.

Key Responsibilities will include;-

• Preparing the month end management accounts and reporting pack.
• Preparing and posting Journals, Accruals and Prepayments.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register including additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Producing Weekly and Monthly reports.
• Dealing with the administration of client direct debits.
• Reconciling weekly sales results.
• Processing of employee travel claims.
• Payroll administration and posting of monthly payroll journal.
• Assisting with the training of the Accounts Assistant.
• Supporting the Purchase and Sales Ledgers when required.

Candidate Specification;-

• Ideally be AAT qualified or have a similar qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Very well organised.
• Good time management skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage own workload.
• All round systems and PC skills; experience in using Xero accounting software and Excel is essential.
• Team worker and personable approach to contribute to a friendly and supportive team culture.
