REED is delighted to be partnered with our client, a leading FMCG company in County Tyrone, in the appointment of a full-time Management Accountant.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and analysis of weekly accounts
• Preparation and review of daily and weekly performance, including completion of site KPIs
• Preparation of monthly accounts, including completion of journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations;
• Effective partnership with departmental leads, supporting & challenging financial outcomes, particularly working closely with commercial and operation teams to ensure accuracy of financial reporting;
• Assisting in the production of forecasts, annual budgets, and capex requisitions;
• Continuous improvement of financial controls & processes;
• Plan, implement and manage small-medium scale projects;
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Newly/fully qualified accountant
• Industry Experience is essential, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong IT skill particularly Microsoft Excel and ERP Systems
• Experience working with all areas of the business including operations
• Strong ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Possess excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills
