We have been asked to recruit a Management Accountant for a company based in Milton Keynes, but not a Management Accountant role as you might know it…
This is a newly created position which is very unique, it is a standalone role, reporting into the Compliance Manager, where you’ll mainly focus on accounts relating to payroll and benefits, this will include management accounts and FP&A.
Day to day you’ll be responsible for the production of accurate payroll and benefit related general ledger duties, including share-based payment accounting, bonus accrual estimation and holiday accruals.
The salary is pretty good too at £37,000 to £41,000 p/a … With your bonus that would mean you would be coming out with around £44,000 to £49,200 per annum.

Below is a small overview of the role…
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll and benefit accounting entries, analytical reviews, and associated reporting.
- Responsible for all aspects of the payroll function for the UK, and other potential future entities.
- Compliance, reporting and tax reporting.
- Process Improvement and Finance Projects.
- Manage employee benefits in kind (private medical insurance, private dental, medical cash plan, company cars, etc) by ensuring they are accurately calculated on payroll.
- Responsible for coordination and preparation of the payroll and headcount budgets as part of the annual planning process.
