Management Accountant

JHE & Partners are working exclusively with a growing business based in the Halifax area as they look to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a key role within the finance team and will have great exposure to the wider business as well as involvement in interesting projects moving forward.

Key duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and board pack
• Margin analysis and reporting
• Accruals and prepayments
• Monitoring costs, explaining variances
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Assist the Financial Controller with group reporting for board meetings
• Business partnering with non-financial stakeholders regarding budgets and forecasts
• Assist with external audit and other compliance related tasks
• Support the wider finance team as required

The ideal applicant will have recent management accounting experience and preferably AAT qualified or part qualified CIMA/ACCA. Good Excel skills are essential as is the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
