SalaryBlair West is working with an established manufacturing business based in Cramlington, as they look to appoint a part-qualified Management Accountant to their finance team. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this is an office-based role that will cover management accounts production, business partnering needs and forecasting and analysis work for the business.
The opportunity:- Preparation of monthly financial close.
- Completion of month-end routines for accurate financial reporting.
- Timely reporting to meet strict deadlines.
- Assistance in preparing monthly MMR and local Management Accounts.
- Distribution of departmental financial reports vs budgets.
- Analysis of production variances and reporting explanations.
- Assistance in budgeting, forecasting, and annual audit processes.
- Development of close links with various departments to achieve KPIs.
- Building models for future profitability levels.
- Identifying opportunities for product construction improvements.
- Ad-hoc project involvement across various business areas.
- Experience producing management accounts.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA).
- Experience using SAP/ERP system advantageous.
- Strong MS Office knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Power Bi is preferential but not essential.
