We have an exciting opportunity available to join the collaborative and friendly Management Accounting team, working alongside the Finance Business Partner and Assistant Finance Managers, you'll assist with five departments and their reporting and to provide administrative and accounting support. This is a fixed term contract role for up to 15 months.
- Providing administrative and accounting support - month-end processing and accounting, preparing grant claims and audits, setting up project groups and closures
- Leading on running reports, time and expense transfers, invoicing and journals whilst supporting with budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Liaising with Group Leaders and Project Managers and offering proactive support. You'll also have the opportunity to support with ad-hoc projects, this could expand your knowledge in a finance team that’s always evolving.
We are now working in a hybrid way, with a mix of remote and office working. Experience and Skills that you can bring to the role:
- Working in a busy, fast paced finance department
- A strong customer focus
- Good communication skills
- Working with large data sets
- Good attention to detail
- Proficient IT skills and ability to use Microsoft office package.
- AAT qualified or equivalent
