Visa is seeking a Manager B2C Marketing. This key role is based in our regional headquarters in London and will support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to build the brand and support key business initiatives, leading work across all media touchpoints.
Reporting to the Director, Brand and Customer Partnerships, the successful candidate will be a results-oriented, highly motivated and inspirational marketer with the ability to mobilize resources across the marketing team, agency partners and multi-functional peers. They will bring to this position marketing experience in world-class brands and will be ready to take the Visa brand to the next level in the UK, through marketing that is strategically sound, engages with consumers’ hearts and minds, and delivers positive commercial outcomes.
What’s it all about:
The Manager B2C Marketing will:
- Support the delivery of all Visa brand and B2C activities in the UK, including brand marketing, digital/social media, and sponsorship activation.
- Help deliver the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns to drive issuance, preference, activation, and usage among diverse audiences, solidifying Visa’s positioning as the leader in electronic payments in the market by developing marketing campaigns that drive profitable transactions and revenue for Visa.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to enhance brand positioning to drive relevance and preference across Europe, targeting key audience segments including Gen Z through music, gaming, and social media platforms.
- Be a champion for the positioning of the Visa brand in the market, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage our top sponsorship properties (i.e., FIFA, Olympics, UEFA Women’s Football) through creating engaging marketing programs that win with consumers and clients.
- Manage the optimal deployment of budget, demonstrating an MROI across functions and prioritizing high impact outcomes that advance Visa’s strategies across consumer payment flows, commercial solutions, and value-added services.
- Communicate regularly with leadership in the market and successfully navigate the diverse and dynamic business environment.
- Oversee complex local projects in partnership with stakeholders within and outside of the function, including Legal, Sales, Finance, and agencies.
- Understand market trends and consumer needs to deliver marketing strategies that meet core OKRs.
- Ensure all marketing activities have measurable outcomes and maintain a robust feedback loop for continuous improvement.
- Utilize insights from Analytics and Data Science teams to identify opportunities for Visa and partners, leveraging this information to drive creative platforms.
- Prioritize digital marketing actions, incorporating AI/Machine Learning.
- Collaborate with Regional Hub functions to identify specialized agencies and manage briefings for content and experience initiatives.
- Adapt global frameworks for market-level impact.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Results-oriented marketer with experience with world-class brands.- Strong business acumen with strategic thinking and communication skills.
- A track record in creating work that drives preference and differentiation.
- Experience in the fundamentals of marketing and with a clear commercial focus.
- Self-motivator and strong collaborator with a pioneering spirit .
- Excellent written and verbal communications and ability to communicate to a diverse customer
- Experienced in working with agencies, partners, suppliers, and other vendors, including driving
- Experience in marketing in social, gaming or music industry preferred.
- English proficiency essential
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
