£50,000 to £80,000 per annum, plus performance related bonus

We are working on behalf of an established, forward thinking and ambitious textiles manufacturer in Manchester who have an outstanding reputation for providing high-quality products into diverse sectors within local and international markets. Entering into a new era of leadership, the company hopes to continue its impressive growth trajectory through entering new niches, markets and adding to its impressive existing customer base.

Job Summary

Our client requires an experienced Managing Director or CEO, or someone within management that can step into the role of MD or CEO to lead the established Management team and to oversee all business and commercial operations. The candidate must have a wealth of experience working within the textile or Garment Manufacturing Industry and must have also held a senior management, directorship, or C-Level position within the industry. This key role is office-based and the successful candidate must reside or be willing to relocate to within a commutable distance of the Manchester HQ.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Chiefly responsible for developing and implementing high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
• Winning clients and projects with a view to continually strengthening and expanding the customer base
• Overseeing all operations and business activities, ensuring desired results are produced and are consistent with the overall company strategy and mission
• Full P&L responsibility and accountable for driving top-line revenue growth
• Ensure that the management team is working cohesively, whilst making sure that employees are trained and that the business is operating efficiently
• Contribute to the on-going product development ideas, innovation, and enhancements

Key Skills and Experience

Essential

• Proven experience as a CEO, Director, or other Senior Managerial position within the textile Manufacturing Industry
• Experience within sales, business development, or commercial strategy
• Experience in production management
• Demonstrable experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing visions
• An entrepreneurial mind-set with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

Desirable

• Previous background knowledge/understanding of textile/Garment Manufacturing
• Experience in production and sales of textiles, ideally in UK and abroad
