Description

• Lead and manage a dedicated team within the engineering and manufacturing department
• Oversee every aspect of the manufacturing process in the machine shop area - responsible for all planning & scheduling, and implement improvements where necessary
• Implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Provide mentorship and training to team members
• Manage resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of products

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Team Lead should have:

• A degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related field
• Adept at using Microsoft Excel - that's a must have!
• Experience using inspection instruments such as verniers, micrometers etc.
• Some experience and understanding of machining
• Some people management experience would be desirable
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication and organisational skills
