JOB TITLE: Market Data Assistant Manager
SALARY: £41,292 - £59,664 (dependent on experience and location)
LOCATIONS: Birmingham / Bristol / Edinburgh / London
HOURS:Full-time / Part Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About This Opportunity
The Market Data Team provides subject matter expertise across LBG for Market Data services. We manage these services to meet business needs, providing in-depth cost analysis from monthly MI, driving cost efficiencies, managing 3rd party suppliers, and ensuring effective governance for data use.
What you'll be doing:
  • Accurately maintain the Market Data inventory (MDM) with contracts pricing, currency rates, users and services information
  • Own the monthly recharge process for all Market Data costs to LBG businesses for their Market Data use ensuring that the business understand what these costs relate to whilst operating effective controls
  • Manage all new contracts for Market Data Vendors and Services, implementing these in MDM for business cost recharge and user management purposes
  • Handle Market Data access for all Market Data users across all Market Data vendor contracts to ensure that each user has the correct access to mitigate operational risk
  • Submit Market Data usage declarations to Market Data Vendors to ensure LBG are invoiced for the correct usage for Market Data services to mitigate financial liability
  • Ensure MDM accurately reflects any price increases and additional and new services have been updated in line with the Market Data vendor invoices
  • Work directly with the third party Calero alongside the Market Data Manager to identify and mitigate any risk and issues with the Market Data inventory system MDM
  • Maintain business insight to manage existing Market Data Contracts and renewals of contracts with Group Sourcing to provide the best option for LBG businesses

What You'll Need
The role will appeal to a motivated and career minded individual keen to develop their knowledge on how Market Data supports the objective of the Group to Help Britain Prosper. You’ll also have:
  • Market Data experience working with large Market Data vendors and enterprise data sources such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv
  • Experience of working with MDM for Market Data inventory Management (or equivalent)
  • Ability to build strong relationships and trust with business partners, challenging risk, and control processes
  • Identify and implement processes as part of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Project management skills in implementing new BAU processes
  • Keen to develop personal capabilities using formal and informal training opportunities
