Munchkin Sports are looking for a full timeMarketing and Social Media Manager to join the team, to help asssist in the rapid growth of our company. You will have overall responsibility for all Marketing and Social Media across the company.
Location: South East London
Hours: Full time, 9am-6pm Monday-Friday
Salary: £30-35k per annum
Roles and Responsibility
- Developing Social Media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Creating daily captivating content for Social Media sites, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts and multimedia content.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Social Media trends and digital technologies.
- Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and Social Media posts.
- Liaising with other departments to create a holistic and effective marketing strategy.
- Oversee Social Media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline, cover, profile pictures and blog layout).
- Update and maintain all external listings regarding our products.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
- To promote all our products through school and nursery marketing initiatives, liaising with school and nursery contacts, parent associations and building partnerships with local school and parent communities.
- Assist in the production of marketing material
- To oversee and distribute print materials to schools, nurseries and local businesses in the communities we operate within.
- Collaborate with our Operations Director and Product Manager regarding our products.
Essential requirements
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Proactive in nature
- Proficient at Microsoft Office
- Experience using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other Social Media platforms
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
- Experience using WordPress
- Experience using Adobe design software
- BSC degree in Design or Marketing
Desirable requirements
- Experience within the school/education sector
- 2+ years marketing experience
- Experience using Mailchimp or alternative marketing software
- Campaign management experience
- Photography and video creation experience for Social Media
