Marketing Assistant  - £34k - £38k + Benefits + Career Role (2-3 home days) – Must travel to Orpington Office BR5

Duties and Responsibilities - Marketing Assistant  - Must be able to travel to BR5 (Orpington)

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Marketing Assistant who can support the Head of Marketing  with a variety of key responsibilities and in return you will start your path to become a key employee within the business, thus resulting in promotional opportunities & taking on strategic responsibilities.

• Working with the marketing management team to help reach the key goals and objectives.
• Working with the teams in both UK & EU regions on their respective marketing roadmaps
• Collaborate with Internal Sales teams and Global Marketing Team
• Supporting the execution of the 160-page Retail Book which is printed 4 times per year.
• Supporting with admin related tasks to ensure the smooth running and organisational efficiency of the department.
• Supporting with social media reporting and generating marketing copy as and when required
• Publishing business updates to the branding/Editorial displayed on UK LinkedIn
• Content development – Marketing related data, blurbs and written descriptions
• Extract and analyse trade channel performance metrics for optimisation and growth
• Researching influencers and initiating contact to culminate in measurable results
• Briefing internal artwork teams on general day to day print and online literature
• Plan & execute trade promotions, discounts and incentives to drive product visibility
• Researching market trends, competitor activities and relevant information that helps enrich product content and takes the company marketing collateral to the next level.
• Working with the in-house design team to conceive, build and push out email communications to the company Club Membership/subscriptions
• Monitoring and taking responsibility of the company social media inbox. Replying to user questions and championing the search for answers from the relevant internal company departments.
• Provide fact-checking, copy-editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of printed literature and other online materials.

The Candidate - Marketing Assistant 

Exposure in a similar type of role would be an advantage, however, there is an expectation to perform most of the job description to a reasonable standard.

• Minimum of 2 years marketing related experience or similar
• Experience with email marketing specifically Mailchimp/ Active Campaign is preferred but not essential.
• Must be able to  analyse data and explain trends & implement strategies
• Must understand art & design (but don’t need to be a designer)
• Excellent copywriting skills and excellent level of English
• Effective communicator, problem solver, results driven and focus on outcomes
• Works well within a team and demonstrates logical initiative.
• Strong IT skills including Excel Spreadsheets & VLOOKUP etc
• Strong presentation skills to include your findings and ideas
• Friendly conscientious team player attitude with the ability to work independently.
