The Role:
We have a new opportunity for a Marketing Design Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team. As Design Specialist you will be responsible for designing and developing high quality marketing materials, this will include print and digital and will enable us to promote the Avove brand and services in the best possible way - both internally and externally. You will be creative and bring our brand to life as you will design and produce graphics associates with marketing and communications across the business. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects including designing external marketing collateral, brochures, annual reports, branded templates and internal posters.
Working with the wider Marketing & Comms team you will provide an excellent service to the business allowing us to grow our business and establish Avove as a partner and employer of choice with a engaging and high quality brand. This role is permanent and of hybrid nature, we are accepting applications from candidates who can work from either or Birmingham or Chorley office as well as from home.
Responsibilities:
- Designing adverts, brochures, flyers, presentations and annual reports including gender pay gap, annual review report and sustainability report
- Creating web graphics, website banners, pages, social media imagery and source appropriate imagery for use in email campaigns and online advertising
- Maintaining the brand look and feel of the website
- Assist the People and Culture team with the design of internal comms templates and talent attraction campaigns and events
- Manage our image library, marketing collateral library and assist in the design of email campaigns
- Work with photographers to ensure all images match the creative concept and delivered to the timelines expected
- Support the wider team with video content, storyboards and support the Work Winning team in developing materials for our bids
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a graphic designer in related field
- Demonstratable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Able to run projects from concept to final design
- Proficient use of Adobe After Effects/Premier Pro or similar software
- Proactive and creative at coming up with new ideas to elevate our comms outputs
- Must have experience using Adobe Creative software including, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
