This local South Yorkshire company are family owned with a fantastic reputation, giving them repeated work in the design and build sector. Your new roleYou will be working as an M&E Contracts Manager. This client works with a variety of sectors on projects up to GBP4m. The role will be based at their head office in Sheffield, though there will be a need to attend site to carry out surveys or attend meetings potentially 2 days per week, nationally.Working within the team, responding to requests from Clients to prepare quotations from information provided, including site surveys, and tendering for works, as necessary, Organising and monitoring call outs on various sites, all kinds of systems and plant areas, including sizing of pumps, booster sets, water flow rates, tec, Assisting with the allocation of manpower with others in your team, Managing and assisting in the organisation of projects including financial control and day to day organisation of sites, Preparation and implementation of method statements and risk assessments and monitoring adherence, Assisting with tendering and helping with schematics, Scheduling and ordering of materials, Ensuring operatives comply with staff procedures with attention to vehicles, appearance, PPE, workplace/site, health and safety awareness, Dealing with technical/fault finding issues and specialist installation queries, Control of Sub-Contractors including the overseeing of specialist commissioning contractors and reporting on validation work, Customer liaison including sales and marketing, to help develop existing relationships and actively seek new business opportunities, Ensuring compliance with staff procedures with adherence to Health and Safety, Ensuring ISO standards are met in accordance with the role.What you'll need to succeedYou will be working as an experienced M&E Contracts Manager bias towards Plumbing and Heating and/or Air Conditioning and Heat pump technologies. You will have experience of overseeing projects for a range of different clients. For this you will have mechanical related qualifications and good IT skills.What you'll get in returnSalary: GBP40,000 - GBP55,000 + Car or Allowance, mileage. 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
