About the Company: a leading company in the offshore wind and renewable energy sector, committed to driving innovation and sustainability in the industry. With a focus on delivering high-quality projects, they are seeking a talented Mechanical Design/CAD Engineer to join the team in London.
Position:Mechanical Design/CAD Engineer
Location: London, UK
Salary Range: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
Type: Hybrid (London area)
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD to create detailed 3D models and produce 2D drawings for construction purposes.
- Develop innovative mechanical designs and solutions for offshore wind and renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all design work.
- Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design/CAD Engineer.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry or renewables industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of civil construction industry practices is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of steelwork and/or concrete fabrication drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
