Description
- Performing mechanical assembly and fitting tasks as per instructions
- Checking and testing completed products to ensure quality and performance
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Regularly maintaining and servicing industrial equipment
- Working effectively as part of the engineering & manufacturing team
- Adhering to all company policies and health & safety regulations
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the department
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate team leader or manager
Profile
A successful Mechanical Fitter should have:
- An educational background in engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in using and maintaining industrial equipment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A strong focus on safety and quality
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
