The Company
My client is one of the world’s leading privately owned actuator, control solutions & hydraulics components manufacturer, who have been established over 50 years, supplying a wide range of industries. With a global market presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the global markets; they need to recruit an additional mechanical engineer, at their Keighley site.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of Hydraulics & Pneumatics
- Understanding of PPM systems
The Role
The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served mechanical engineer, and have hydraulics & pneumatics knowledge, together with assembly manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and assembly activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising efficiencies. If you have worked on electro-hydraulic & pneumatic actuators, it would be advantageous. Also, able, and willing to work on general mechanical assembly work, and other performance testing and trouble shooting performance issues of existing products. There is a huge amount of development on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably, with the possibility of taking on a supervisory role in the future.
