Medical Receptionist

Job Summary
BASED IN WORCESTER PARK, SURREY KT4 7LG

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Update and maintain patient records in the electronic medical records system
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar administrative role preferred
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems EMIS, Docman and Accurx
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Shift times are Monday 8.45am - 2pm, Tuesday 8.45am - 1pm, Wednesday 8.45am - 1pm, Thursday 8.45am - 2pm and Friday 8.45am - 6.00pm
