Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our team in providing care 4 to 1 support for a client with a dual diagnosis of Learning Disability and Mental Health. This role will involve working closely with a Registered Mental Health Nurse to ensure the client's needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing personalised care and support to meet the individual needs of the client. Assisting the client with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans. Managing challenging behaviors in a calm and professional manner. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Supporting the client to engage in social and recreational activities. Requirements:
Previous experience working with clients with learning disabilities and Mental Health challenges. Experience working with clients exhibiting challenging behavior. Valid PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) certification. A driving license and access to a car. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
