An integral part of the Buying and Merchandising department, the allocating role provides a crucial link between head office and the retail stores.
The Merchandising Admin Assistant anticipates customer needs to plan the most effective product placement through managing stock replenishment, aiming to ensure the best possible use is made of the season's stock. The MAA is responsible for maximising sales and profits by analysing seasonal trends, branch and stock performance ensuring that the right quantities of stock are in the right location, at the right time.

Hybrid working applies to this role, meaning you can work 50% of your time from our beautiful office in Kensington and 50% of your time from home.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Main duties include controlling stock movements and stock allocation:

  • Rectifies store generated discrepancies, miscellaneous sales and validation errors.
  • Works with the Accounts, Warehouse and Retail Ops teams to process store stocktakes.
  • Monitors, reports and rectifies warehouse locations in transit.
  • Monitors stores delivery acceptance.
  • Prepares weekly invoice reporting for month end.
  • Works cross functionally with Customer Services, Warehouse, Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising and Marketing.
  • Reviews and processes store product requests.
  • Sets and maintains ideal minimum stock levels to ensure no missed opportunities, as well as ad-hoc allocations to stores.
  • Works closely with Market Support for the staff purchase requests.
  • Runs and updates daily reports to be distributed to the B&M team.
  • Responsible for managing the adjustments for Retail warehouse locations.
  • Supports and orders the stock required for Mulberry.com, working closely with Digital, Warehouse and Photography teams.
  • Raises and manages purchase orders in the system.
  • Maintains RRP for every price book.
  • Manages or assists ad-hoc projects that arise within the B&M department.
