MFL Teacher Required For a Worcester Secondary School

September 2024 Maternity Cover post

3 Days per week

I am pleased to be working closely with a mainstream Secondary School in Worcestershire.

The school are looking for a dedicated French Teacher to join their welcoming and supportive MFL department in September 2024, for a part-time maternity cover.

The school has high expectations of the students and are looking for a teacher who can create and deliver engaging and high quality lessons, while providing a positive learning environment.

The successful teacher would be working 3 days per week teaching French to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You would receive excellent support from the Head of Department and also from the schools wider Senior Leadership team.

Experience teaching Spanish is desirable but not essential.

Newly Qualified Teachers and experience unqualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants need to have:

• QTS with MFL specialism
• Experience teaching French up to KS4
• Good classroom management
• Excellent behavioural management
• Ability to fulfil all aspects of a full teaching role
• Good communication skills
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
• Instructors are also encouraged to apply as well as educators working towards QTLS.

The position would be for the full academic year for the right candidate.
