Responsibilities
Play an instrumental role in increasing market share and profitability.
You'd be responsible for leading business development initiatives, nurturing relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners, and ensuring they are the go-to choice for data and analysis needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Generation of new leads through personal networks and external relationships
- Working alongside marketing and a lead generation agency to convert leads
- Owning all phases of the sales lifecycle
- Coordinating bid responses ensuring consistency and timeliness
- Actively contributing to brand building and innovation agenda
- Collaborating proactively with the marketing team, aligning activities for best results
Requirements
If you possess the following qualifications and skills, then we're eager to hear from you:
- A minimum of 6- year senior sales experience, at least 3 years in consultative-selling roles at data and insight agencies
- A strong negotiator and closer
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Expertise in technology, able to demonstrate products and discuss topics at a technical level
- Experience in data and insight ecosystems, its associated platforms and technologies,
- Understanding of ESG, sustainability or geo-location solutions would be beneficial but is not essential.
The role is hybrid with a London based office. They would ideally like this person to be in the office 1 or 2 days a week but can be flexible for the right candidate.
The salary is £70K plus substantial commission (ability to double)
