Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual with experience within the UK higher education sector to join our esteemed Board of Governance (BoG) as a Non-Executive Member (NEM). The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing expertise and guidance in academic leadership, student experience, and student engagement.

The NEM is required to attend three meetings per year and participate in one Board Away Day and collaborate with the members of the Board of Governance to provide advice on all aspects of educational activity and contribute to setting strategic objectives and monitoring performance to ensure academic excellence.

Personal Specification:

• Demonstrable expertise and experience in academic leadership, student experience, and student engagement within the UK higher education sector.
• Proven track record of strategic thinking and decision-making at a senior level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse members of the BoG.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
