Creative Support is an established not-for-profit social care company with an excellent level of achievements at rating Good with CQC (Care Quality Commission). We are looking for a Unit Business Manager with strong admin skills a caring nature and flexibility, someone who is interested in carrying out a diverse and rewarding role supporting the Regional Manager and management team at our Bedfordshire Services. The role will predominately support our established learning disability services, including supported living and residential settings.
The role will work across the Bedfordshire services, based at the local office with a view of visiting services and the local community. The role will include senior level HR meetings, minute taking, preparing and analysing reports, timesheets, recruitment, volunteers, activity coordination, student placement finance such as petty cash liaison and quality compliance support. Full training and induction will be given.
The successful candidate will have a bright, positive approach with excellent communication skills and a clear telephone manner in addition to strong organisational skills and high standards of Customer Care. Applicants will require excellent typing and document production skills and be able to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as well as Word. Good numeracy and accurate data entry skills are also required. Full training and induction will be given.
You must be able to plan and prioritise a varied workload, exercising appropriate judgement and responding promptly and appropriately to all enquiries. The post holder will be required to handle information of a confidential nature and must observe the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality in addition to demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally with service users, staff and external stakeholders.
The post holder may be required to travel and to work in accordance with working patterns and priorities of the service(s). This will be pre-planned and agreed based on the assignment.
This is a full time (37.5hr) post. There is a possibility of part time working but this will not be below 22.5 hours per week.
