Comms Design Ltd is a cutting-edge engineering design and manufacturing company that specialises in electronic product development. Our expertise extends to a range of capabilities, including embedded and application software development, mechanical engineering design, electronic hardware design, state-of-the-art radio coverage planning and simulation, training, support and maintenance, end to end product development.
We are now looking to recruit a part time Office Assistant to support the team in the office in Harrogate. The main purpose of the Office Assistant is to provide comprehensive administrative support, directly contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is pivotal in facilitating smooth internal operations and ensuring seamless communication across various departments. The Office Assistant is responsible for managing the day-to-day office tasks, coordinating meetings and events, and handling correspondence.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to);
- Providing administrative support to various departments.
- Managing office supplies, inventory, and maintenance of office equipment.
- Coordinating internal and external meetings, including scheduling and logistics.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Maintaining organised filing systems and ensuring data accuracy.
- Assisting in the implementation of office policies and procedures.
- Assisting the Operations Manager with Unipart Way tasks as and when required
- Conducting monthly Environmental reporting scoring for upwards distribution
Candidates should have previous experience of working in an office based environment and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft/Google IT systems. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential along with strong organisational and time management skills. This is an office based role and so the ability to work as part of a team is important, along with the ability to work on your initiative. You should have a good eye for detail and a professional approach to working.
